My fav part from divergent
I believe this picture has more meaning than Wren coloring the red coat. It may sound crazy but hear me out a minute:
Let me start off by saying we have never seen Mona’s parents or siblings. We have never heard about them.Think about the different scenarios Mona was present without any parental guidance. Ie;
* Every funeral she is alone.
* The fashion show she helped coorindate. She was very proud of it and something every other parent attended.
* The father/daughter dance.
* The church scene where she is singing “The circle is unbroken.” She sat alone. She came out without any parents.
* In Radley we never see a parent visiting her nor mentioned.
* No parents/siblings at her Birthday party, “Camp Mona”
I’m sure there are more but you get the point. I have taken some Psychology classes and have attended therapy myself a while back. Some of you may know what I’m talking about…sometimes during a session you are shown pictures or given scenerios. These are usually to do with something tragic or traumatic that may have happened to you, or something that you have gone through/experienced. Sometimes they have you draw pictures. In Mona’s case she is shown a picture of a family. When asked by Wren what she sees, she says “Happy.” She wants nothing more to do with it. Wren pesters her.
Could Mona be “not well” possibly to do with the fact she has no family? Maybe she has a foster family who doesn’t care about her. On top of all that she was bullied by Ali and the girls. Maybe she envies the liars bc they are close to their families. Especially Hanna and Ashley who are very close. She may hate her life for all that’s happened to her, then Ali’s bullying..pushed her to become A for revenge. For anger.
Did Wren show her this picture bc he thinks it’s a trigger for her and he knows all the families are being messed with now? Notice all the moms are except Mrs. Hastings who Wren may be afraid of after what happened with him and Melissa…this could also be why Wren is being adament about Mona not meaning what she says about killing Wilden. He also believes that she’s out to get the liars and doesn’t mean what she says. I don’t know his full story yet but we do know he’s up to no good. Is he lying about Mona or does he know something we don’t about her agenda?
Either way, this picture could have been anything. A dog, cat, a man, a woman alone, etc. Why a family? A happy family. Out of all things why did Wren show her any picture at all? Why was it so important to him? This has meaning but idk what. Anyone else have any ideas or theories? Does anyone have a clue about Mona”s family?
That guy that’s with Ezra, in this flashback of the first time Aria sees him at Hollis, is Lgan Reed who works at the delivery place and got hired by A to deliver money to the girls.
When people say “you’re too old for Disney” I’m like, you literally know nothing about Walt Disney and the Disney company, do you?
Incredible Disneyland Opening Day pictures shot in Fantasyland and Main Street USA.
